Junior Doctors on strike again.
Don't fool for the " doing it for our benefit " bullshit, this is about money and bringing the Tory party down.

I saw a banner on Sky News that had #toriesout written on it.

The trade unions are trying to regain the power and if they are allowed we are screwed.

It's quite telling the the Doctors leader won't say how close the vote was.

My advice to the Government is hold firm and sack those that refuse to work.

Margaret Thatcher would have destroyed these unions before she even had lunch.

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
Don't sack them. One by one strike them off (beginning with the foreigners) for showing gross negligence and irresponsibility. 7 years of Uni piss ups down the drain. Fuck 'em.

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
Metal, the misanthrope is back. Seeing as the junior doctors are taking an action that is lawful are you proposing that the government act illegally or would you wait for the law to be changed via a new Bill through HoP?

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
So the BMA agree to a deal, tell everyone what a great deal it is, now the Junior Doctors are striking over that deal?

Just goes to show they don't really give a fuck and are part of the left wing/Union agenda to drive the Tories out and fuck anyone how may happen to be ill

'The BMA is not a trade union btw.'

Really? Somebody should tell them to change the home page of their website, then.

'About us
The British Medical Association (BMA) is the trade union and professional body for doctors in the UK.'

https://www.bma.org.uk/about-us

Fuck-wit

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
After 4 years training, Junior Doctor starting salary is 24k. There is an upward scale whereby, after about 10 years, they can earn in excess of 50k, max, 70k. Realistically that would be close to 14 yrs. the average pay for Jnr dr is about 34k. Compare the worth of the medical profession to some arseholes on here, critical of their protest, who probably earn more than that for staring at computer screens or juggling around with digital dosh. Fuck asked every time a public service protest arises these right wing start ranting. If you want to live in a democratic society you have to acknowledge that taking LEGAL strike action is part of the democratic process.

Spot on mate. From an ethical standpoint, there is now precisely zero difference between the medical profession and a tube driver or bin-man. They should therefore expect to be regarded in precisely the same light by the public.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Its disgusting how the left wing middle class intelligentsia have so ruthlessly infiltrated pretty much all of our universities.

These are utter cunts, I had more time for Scargill's lot.

I'd sack any of them that voted in favour of strikes. This is not "industrial action" you are not an industry, you live in nice houses and take expensive holidays and have gold-plated pensions.

Stop acting the cunt.

Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
Self entitled middle class 80s/90s babies brought up by lefties to believe that the way to getting what you want (more money) is to throw a tantrum and get emotional and guilt trip everyone and blame "Tories" for all the unfair things in the world.

Why don't they just say "we want more money"?

Fuck 'em. If they hate their tiny bitsy eeny weeny salaries and our democratically elected government so much they should fuck off to Venezuela or Tajikistan where everything is obviously so much better for medical professionals.

claretandbluedagger 5:46 Thu Sep 1
Re: Junior Doctors on strike again.
The BMA agreed with the government in their negotiations, but the doctors (despite deciding the BMA should represent them all in the negotiations) decided to go against that agreement. They want more money, simple as that. Nothing wrong with wanting more money, but claiming it's about patient safety is a load of crap.
